This top quality white sage is salvia apiana. Salvia is from the latin word salvare which means to heal. This natural, freshly picked white sage has long been used in cleansing ceremonies. Our sage is harvested by selected Indigenous companies. We chose these suppliers because they support their local communities and also respect their customs and traditions. This wild sage is harvested by individual pickers (there is no big cultivation nor farms involved). This ensures an ethical harvest which leaves enough plants to self-populate the following year.
